Eels is an American indie-rock and alternative band hailing from Los Feliz, California. Formed in 1995, it is the project of frontman, singer-songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Mark Oliver Everett, better known as E.
Also consisting of The Chet, Knuckles (aka Derek Brown), Honest Al, and P-Boo (aka Mike Sawitzke), the band have made a name for themselves across the world, especially thanks to their music featuring in a load of films - examples include 'Scream 2', 'American Beauty', 'Holes', 'The Anniversary Party', 'Knocked Up', ‘Shrek 1/2/3’, and ‘Hot Fuzz’.
Members of Eels constantly rotate with new members and old members appearing and reappearing in the studio and onstage, something which has helped them retain a constantly fresh and evolving sound - as well as making their live shows quite a treat.
Over their almost 20 years together, the band have put out a mammoth 14 studio albums together, notching up nine UK Top 20 finishes. Their latest record ‘The Deconstruction' will arrive on April 6 and follow up 2014's 'The Cautionary Tales of Mark Oliver Everett'. Eels will support the record with a US and European tour, with stops in London. Catch them live by checking out the tour dates and concert ticket information below on Stereoboard.

The term ‘auteur’ is derived from cinema criticism, and describes a director whose personal vision can be seen in every part of their films; from script, to music, to set design, and so on.
