Eivør Pálsdóttir is a Faroese singer-songwriter from Syðrugøta. She is known for her distinct voice and an interest in various music genres spanning from rock, jazz, folk, and pop, to European classical music. Her roots are in the Faroese ballads. Many of her songs are in Faroese, some in Icelandic, with her more recent material sung in English.

Starting her music career in 1999, she released her debut self-titled album, in 2000. She is set to release her latest album, ‘Slør’, on May 26. 2017.
