Eliot Sumner (a.k.a Coco Sumner) is an English singer/songwriter and notably the daughter of Sting and Trudie Styler.
In 2007 she independently released the song, ‘I Blame Coco’, which was co-written by Mr Hudson. At 17, she signed a multi-record contract with Island Records and put out an album, ‘The Constant’, in 2010, under the name I Blame Coco, which had an electropop sound. The debut single from the album, Caesar, featuring Robyn, was released in February 2010, followed by ‘Self Machine’ in July 2010. That year she supported La Roux on their UK tour, and played Glastonbury, Leeds/Reading, Latitude, Secret Garden Party, Benicassim, Wireless, Isle of Wight, Lovebox and Jalouse Rocks festivals and I Blame Coco had a headline tour that winter. Sumner later dropped the name, I Blame Coco, in favour of releasing music under her own name, and released an EP, ‘Information, in 2014, and supported Lykke Li on an international run of dates of Europe and UK. She released the EP, ‘Early Reflections SMPLR’ in August 2015, and you can catch her playing live in the UK in November 2015. For more details about tickets see below.
