Fort Minor is an American hip-hop outfit led by Linkin Park's Mike Shinoda. Formed in 2004, it consists of Shinoda alongside Style of Beyond - Ryan Patrick Maginn (aka Ryu) and Takbir Bashir (aka Tak), though Shinoda is the main man behind the project.
Releasing just one album and two mixtapes before entering a hiatus, Fort Minor would still manage to make a massive impact with 'The Rising Tied', which birthed two platinum-selling singles; Remember the Name and Where'd You Go.
