Jay B—real name Lim Jae-Beom—is a singer-songwriter from Gyeonggi, South Korea.
He was scouted by JYP Entertainment in 2009, who invited him to audition. He initially declined their offer, but after encouragement from his family, he attended and won first place place out over 10,000 hopefuls. He then went on to join the boyband Got7, who he released seven albums with before leaving in 2021. He has since gone on to put out six full-length mixtapes and a handful of EPs as a solo artist, with his most recent being the 'Abandoned Love' EP in 2022.
