Lights, otherwise known as Valerie Anne Poxleitner, is a Canadian singer-songwriter and musician hailing from Toronto, Ontario.
Kicking off her career in 2008, she signed with Underground Operations. In 2009, she won New Artist of the Year at the Juno Awards. In 2010 she released her debut album, ‘The Listening’, followed by, ‘Siberia’ in 2011, and ‘Little Machines’ in 2014. Lights returned with a brand new record, 'Skin & Earth', in September 2017. Her latest LP, 'How To Sleep When You're On Fire', came out in 2020. Lights will take her Baby I'm Back Tour across North America in spring 2022.
