Louis CK, real name Székely, is an American stand-up comedian and actor born in Washington D.C.

Starting his comedy career in 1985, as a stand-up comic, later becoming a writer for shows such as David Letterman Conan O'Brien and Chris Rock. He went onto direct two films, ‘Tomorrow Night’ in 1998 and ‘Pootie Tang’ in 2001, before starring in his own HBO show ‘Lucky Louie’ in 2006. His FX show ‘Louie’ launched in 2010, and went on hiatus in 2015, and he also had supporting roles in films such as ‘The Invention of Lying’, ‘American Hustle’ and ‘Blue Jasmine’. He launched his web series ‘Horace and Pete’ in 2016.
