Mary J Blige is an American R&B singer-songwriter and producer from The Bronx, New York, best known for tracks such as Family Affair, Be Without You, Real Love and Not Gon' Cry.

Starting her career in 1989, as a backing vocalist at Uptown Records, she released her debut album, 'What's the 411?', in 1992, which hit #6 in the Billboard Hot 200, but it was her third album, ‘Share My World’, released in 1997, that peaked at the top spot. Her following eight albums, including ‘Mary’ in 1999 and ‘No More Drama’ in 2001, reached the top five. She released her latest album, ‘Strength of a Woman’, in April 2017 via Capitol.

She has headlined her own shows and tours across the world including the Share My World Tour, The Mary Show Tour, Heart of the City Tour and Love Soul Tour. She headlined Wireless Festival in summer 2015.
