Meghan Trainor is an American singer-songwriter and musician hailing from Nantucket, Massachusetts. Born in 1993, she is one of the US's fastest rising stars of the past few years, having signed a deal with Epic Records in 2014.

Having become interested in music and songwriter at a young age, it's no surprise that Trainor would go on to make it big. She would start writing her own songs at age 11, find herself part of two bands in high school, and go on to both self-produce and release her own, self-titled album at age 15. After attending the Berklee College of Music, she was set in her path to stardom.

After penning tracks for a number of other artists, Trainor would eventually make a breakthrough as an artist in her own right after creating the track All About That Bass. Initially sent to artists such as Beyonce and Adele, who rejected it, Trainor would go on to record the track herself - and it became both her first proper single, and her first smash hit!

Reaching #1 in charts across the globe, it became one of the best-selling singles of all time, shifting over seven million copies since it hit shelves back in June 2014. Trainor's debut album, 'Title', hit shelves in late January 2015, and saw her touring the world

Trainor returns with 'Thank You' in May 2016 - catch her supporting it with a US/Canadian tour in the summer!
