Mordred is an American thrash and funk metal outfit hailing from San Francisco’s Bay Area. Formed in 1984, the band today consists of two founding members - bassist Art Liboon and guitarist James Sanguinetti - alongside longtime frontman Scott Holderby, guitarist Danny White, and turntablist/keyboard-player Aaron Vaughn.
Releasing three studio albums in their original ten-year run, Mordred would become one of the more popular thrash band’s to come out of SanFran’s bustling Bay Area scene, combining typical thrash style with experimental funk basslines and even turntables. There have been a number of reunions since their split, and in 2014, they’re making a comeback with a new single AND a UK and Ireland tour - check below to find tickets!
