Nik Rabinowitz is a popular South African comedian, actor and author. He grew up on on a farm in Constantia, and graduated from University of Cape Town with Honours in Business Science, but after touring Africa with a theatre company and a herd of donkeys his career in the entertaining business started to form.
During his time as a comedian, he's had three outrageous one man stand-up shows: The Life and Times of Klasie Kakpraat, Anyone seen My Goat? and most recently One Man One Goat. Familiar to South African TV viewers as the off the wall multi-lingual presenter of SABC 1’s Coca-Cola Megamillions Gameshow and the lycra bodysuit clad M-Web big black box guy, Nik’s comedy work includes appearances at Vodacom’s Funny Festivals, stand-up gigs in London and at the Edinburgh Festival, as well as guest appearances on several comedy shows, including the panel show Mock the Week. He also appeared in the film Material in 2012. He currently hosts a collaborative radio show with Gillian Breslin called The Week That Wasn't. From whacky stand-up comic to high profile MC, Nik has performed for corporates, government and NGOs across Southern Africa. He’s starred in numerous local and international TV commercials, and recorded an abundance of voice work. After the successful recent run of his one-man show in Cape Town, Nik Rabinowitz will be coming to the UK at the end of 2017 for three nights at the Leicester Square Theatre.
