Of Monsters and Men are an Icelandic indie-rock/folk outfit who formed back in 2009. It houses six talented musicians - co-singers Nanna Bryndís Hilmarsdóttir and Ragnar Ţórhallsson, guitarist Brynjar Leifsson, drummer Arnar Rósenkranz Hilmarsson, and bassist Kristján Páll Kristjánsson.
First emerging after they won the Músíktilraunir (an Icelandic battle of the bands) just a year after forming, Of Monsters and Men have gone on to find international fame - something highlighted by their win at the 2013 European Border Breakers Awards. Of Monsters and Men received worldwide recognition for their debut album, ‘My Head is an Animal’, which peaked at #3 in the UK charts and even #6 Stateside. It led to dozens of festival invites and sold out shows across all four corners, too. A brilliant live band - their five-strong band work together excellently on stage - Of Monsters and Men make their return with a huge tour of the US, UK and Europe in 2019 to support their upcoming album 'Fever Dream', which is due in July.
