Of Monsters And Men Detail New LP 'All Is Love And Pain In The Mouse Parade' And North American Tour

Of Monsters And Men have announced their first album in six years.
'All Is Love and Pain in the Mouse Parade' will arrive on October 17, following up 2019's 'Fever Dream', though they put out their 'Tíu' EP in 2022, which accompanied the short documentary of the same name, and another two EPs earlier that year; 'Ófreskja' and 'Manneskja '. Since then, the members have explored different solo and side projects.
Alongside the news, the Icelandic indie-folk band have shared Ordinary Creature, a self-produced, atmospheric indie-pop offering that was penned during a summer night in Iceland and crafted in their home studio. The band explained:
"Ordinary Creature is about the feeling of yearning for that someone that brings you comfort. It's about when you start feeling better after a period of not feeling so great. That moment when you start coming back to yourself again and remembering what it’s like to be an ordinary creature."
Head below to view the song's accompanying video, directed by Erlendur Sveinsson and shot during a summer night and the early hours of the morning in the small Icelandic coastal town of Selvogur.
The five-piece returned in July with the single Television Love, which will also feature on the new record. They'll support the LP with The Mouse Parade Tour of North America between October 28 and November 26, with support from Icelandic singer-songwriter Árný Margrét. Tickets go on general sale at 10am local time on Friday (August 15).
