S Club is the re-named version of the 1990s pop group S Club 7, minus a few original members! Hailing from London, the 7-strong group formed in 1998, consisting of Tina Barrett, Paul Cattermole, Jon Lee, Bradley McIntosh, Jo O'Meara, Hannah Spearritt, and Rachel Stevens. Now, performing as just S Club, the remaining members are Bradley McIntosh, Jo O’Meara and Tina Barrett.
Put together by former Spice Girls manager Simon Fuller, S Club 7 would actually first emerge via television rather than radio, starring in their own show Miami 7. It was then that their music started to make its way to pop fans’ ears, with now-seminal singles like Bring It All Back and S Club Party hitting shelves.
Their debut record ‘S Club’ would hit #2 in the charts and has since been ranked as double platinum, which was soon topped by its follow up ‘7’, which hit #1 and reached quadruple platinum status. As the years went by, they would put out two more LPs, but slowly come to an end in 2003.
One of the sensational pop groups of the ‘90s/early ‘00s, S Club will always be cherished by fans and rumours of a reunion have been ripe since the day they split. Over the years there have been a few reincarnations, but it wasn’t until 2014 that the original line-up would return for a show supporting Children in Need.
Having seen their reunion go so swimmingly, S Club 7 officially returned for a series of UK shows in May 2015, for the Bring It All Back Tour.
Now, in 2018, the trio of original members will perform together for a headline tour with 5ive as part of the Ultimate Pop Reunion Tour! Catch them live by checking out the tour dates and concert ticket information below on Stereoboard.
