Salvador Sobral is a singer from Portugal, most famous for winning the Eurovision Song Contest in 2017, with the song Amar Pelos Dois.
In 2009 Sobral competed in the Portugues Idols series, finishing seventh. After several shows around Europe, he released his debut single Excuse Me in 2016, which reached number 22 in the Portuguese charts. His debut album of the same name reached number 1 in his home country. His second album, 'Paris, Lisboa' dropped in March 2019. After European tour in spring 2019 supporting the new album, Salvador Sobral will headline London's Barbican Hall in February 2020.
