Scouting For Girls are a British pop-rock band from London, consisting of Roy Stride, Greg Churchouse and Pete Ellard. They are best known for tracks such as She’s So Lovely and Elvis Ain’t Dead.
Formed in 2005, they released their self-titled debut album in 2007, which spent two weeks at the top of the UK Albums Chart, ‘Everybody Wants to Be on TV’ followed in 2010, which contained the UK #1 single This Ain't a Love Song and reached #2 in the album chart. The band’s third LP, ‘The Light Between Us’, was released in 2012 and peaked at #10 in the chart, while 2015's ‘Still Thinking About You’ charted at #13. The trio's new album, 'The Trouble With Boys', will arrive on September 20, 2019. The band have headlined their own shows and tours across the UK, the rest of Europe, Japan, Australia and America. They've also played huge shows at venues such as Scarborough Open Air Theatre and York Racecourse, as well as festivals such as Lytham Festival and Penn Festival. Scouting For Girls will support their new record with an extensive UK and Ireland tour in winter 2019, in addition to a charity gig for Nordoff Robbins in September.
