Slam Dunk Festival is a British rock music festival held in Birmingham, Leeds and Hatfield.
Formed in 2006 by Slam Dunk Records, as a mini festival in Leeds Millennium Square, headlined by Fall Out Boy, before moving to Leeds University, with headliners Reel Big Fish. In 2010 the festival expanded to a second location in Hertfordshire and in 2013, a third location in Wolverhampton. In 2016 the third moved to Birmingham. The event has seen headline performances from the likes of You Me At Six, New Found Glory, Taking Back Sunday, All Time Low, The All-American Rejects, and Panic! at the Disco, with Enter Shikari taking the stage in 2017.
Slam Dunk Festival returns for another year in May 2018 with headliners Jimmy Eat World and Taking Back Sunday, joined by Sleeping With Sirens, State Champs, Four Year Strong and Trash Boat. Catch them live by checking out the festival dates and ticket information below on Stereoboard.
Honestly not had a bad memory from this place. It's ten minutes from my house, the price is amazing considering there's a load of different acts to see, it's big but not so big that you lose people easily or get lost, the price of the pizza I had was expensive but it was delicious I must admit. Each time I've gone there has been at least 4 acts I want to see, even if you think of that as Β£10 each that's incredible. Some of the bands I grew up listening to when I was 16 and have wanted to see for 10 years, thanks to Slam Dunk most of the list is complete! The staff are great and it's just overall a great place and brilliant atmosphere. It's indoors and outdoors which is ideal, they announce bands that suit everyone,I prefer this festival to Reading and Leeds (and I really do love Reading festival!).
