Soap And Skin is experimental music moniker of Austrian singer, composer and producer Anja Plaschg, currently based in Vienna.
Her debut album, 'Lovetune for Vacuum', was released in March 2009, following a string of EPs and singles throughout the 2000s. It received excellent reviews and placed in the Austrian Top 10, as well as receiving chart positions in Germany, Belgium, and France.
Plaschg's father dies in 2009, and this event influenced the musician's second album, 'Narrow', which came in 2012. Plaschg's third album, 'From Gas to Solid / you are my friend', was released in October 2018.
She won the European Border Breakers Award (EBBA) in 2010, and the Amadeus Austrian Music Award in 2009.
