Stryper is an American heavy metal outfit based in Orange County, California. Formed in 1983, it consists of Michael Sweet, Robert Sweet, Oz Fox, and Tim Gaines.

Known for their Christianity-influenced rock and metal, Stryper enjoyed a successful '80s, even earning a platinum-disc with their record 'To Hell with the Devil'.
