Sworn Amongst are a British thrash metal band from from Hull, consisting of vocalist Sy James, guitarists Jonny Barker and James Cooper, and Jonny Harper on drums.
Formed in 2002, the band released their debut EP, ‘Mass Destruction’, in 2004, followed by their debut album, ‘Derision of Conformity’, in 2006. They signed to Rising Records in 2007 and released ‘And So It Begins’ in 2008 and ‘Severance’ was released in 2010. The band released their latest album, ‘Under A Titan Sky’, in 2015. The band returned in 2017 with a new single, The Cleansing. The band have headlined their own shows and tours across the UK, as well as having supported the likes of Bonded by Blood and Gama Bomb and played festivals such as Bloodstock and Hammerfest.
