It originally consisted of Eric Burdon, Alan Price, Hilton Valentine, John Steel, and Bryan 'Chas' Chandler, though there have since been numerous line-up changes and incarnations of the group, with two currently operating; Eric Burdon and The Animals, and John Steel and Mick Gallagher's The Animals and Friends.
