The Big Cheese Tour is a co-headline UK tour that will be kicking off in October 2014. Featuring two of the country’s favourite and fastest-rising rock outfits - Lonely the Brave and Marmozets - it’ll see fans entertained over twelve gigs.
Marmozets are an English alternative band hailing from the North. Formed in 2009, the band consists of three Macintyres - singer Becca, guitarist Sam, and drummer Josh - alongside two Bottomleys - guitarist Jack and bassist Will. Releasing a series of EPs in their opening years (‘Passive Aggressive’ in 2011, and ‘Vexed’ in 2012), the band received a tremendous amount of support in the press, achieving 9/10 ratings from critics across the board. In spring 2014, they put out their long-awaited debut LP, and supported it with a UK tour in March and April. Lonely the Brave are an English rock band hailing from Cambridge. Formed in 2009 and consisting of frontman David Jakes, guitarist Mark Trotter and Joel Mason, bassist Andrew Bushen, and drummer Gavin Edgeley, the band perform a sound they describe as ‘epic rock’. Tipped to be one of the stars of tomorrow, Lonely The Brave will release their debut album 'The Day's War' in September 2014.
