The Format Tour Dates & Tickets 2026 / 2027
The Format are an American indie-rock band from Peoria, Arizona, formed by vocalist Nate Ruess and multi-instrumentalist Sam Means.
Formed in 2002, the band released two albums, 'Interventions + Lullabies' in 2003 and 'Dog Problems' in 2006, before going on hiatus in 2008. They reunited in 2020, though their comeback shows were cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, before returning again in 2025 and releasing their third album, 'Boycott Heaven', in January 2026. The Format will continue to support their new album with US shows throughout summer and fall 2026. They'll also team up with The Jimmy Eat World for a special co-headline show at Los Angeles' Hollywood Bowl in November, where they'll celebrate the 20th anniversary of 'Dog Problems' by performing the record in full. It's one of just two full album performances this year, the other taking place at Radio City Music Hall in New York in October.
