The Get Up Kids are an alt-rock band from Kansas City, Missouri.
Formed in 1995, the band are widely regarded as a leading force in the '90s emo-punk movement. They released their debut LP 'Four Minute Mile' in 1997, followed by three more before they parted ways in 2005. They made a return in 2008, and went on to put out 'There Are Rules' in 2011 and their latest LP, 'Problems', in 2019. The Get Up Kids will take their Four Minute Mile 25th Anniversary Tour across the USA the following August and September 2022.
