The Rezillos are a punk and new wave band formed in Edinburgh in 1976. Although emerging at the same time as other bands in the punk rock movement, the Rezillos did not share the nihilism or social commentary of their contemporaries, but instead took a more light-hearted approach to their songs, preferring to describe themselves at the time as "a New Wave beat group".
The line up was originally centred around vocalists Fay Fife and Eugene Reynolds, and fleshed out by the band: Jim Brady, Chris Agnew and Angel Paterson.
Their debut album, 'Can't Stand The Rezillos', was released in 1978 through Sire Records, and was followed up with 'Mission Accomplished... but The Beat Goes On' in 1979, and a reissue of their debut in 1993. Their latest, 'Zero' came in 2015!
Still going strong, the band will play a handful of shows in the UK in September. Catch them live by checking out the tour dates and concert ticket information below on Stereoboard.
