The Seekers are an Australian group hailing from Melbourne, Victoria. Formed in 1962, the band - consisting of Judith Durham on vocals, Keith Potger on the 12 string guitar, Bruce Woodley on the other guitars (banjo, mandolin, and of course, regular!), and Athol Guy on bass - produce an eclectic and popular mix of easy-listening pop and folk.
Since their 1963 debut 'Introducing the Seekers' hit shelves, they've released a load of records - and sold a fair few too. It's been said that they've sold over 50million records worldwide - but they haven't been so successful across the pond, something that highlights their success where they are popular. Judith is better than ever, and the Seekers FANTASTIC, fabulous sound, and all the favourite songs in the show. What a night, made me tingle all the way through. A better night out than we have never had, this concert we had been waiting over a year to see. It coincided with my wife's 65th birthday celebrations and she has wanted to see The Seekers for over 40 years, and what a birthday treat!
