He began taking tenor horn lessons at just eight years old, converting to tuba in his teen years. Since then, he has become a core part of London's jazz scene, both as a solo artist and as a member of Mercury Prize-nominated jazz quartet Sons Of Kemet. He released his debut EP, 'Aspirations' in 2015, followed by his first full-length studio album 'Fyah' in 2019, which shot to the number one spot on the UK Official Jazz & Blue Charts. He has since toured across the world and collaborated with the likes of Jon Batiste, Emile Sande and Kano. Theon Cross has postponed his We Go Again Tour, with new dates yet to be announced.
