Tinchy Stryder—real name Kwasi Danquah III—is a rapper and singer-songwriter from Accra, Ghana.
Starting on pirate radio before working his way to performing live and releasing mixtapes, he put out his debut album ‘Star In The Hood’ in 2007, also dropping a successful clothing line of the same name. His second album, 'Catch 22', catapulted him to stardom, featuring singles such as Take Me Back, Number One and Never Leave You, with the latter two track reaching the #1 spot on the UK's Official Singles Chart. He has since gone on to drop a further two studio records, with the most recent being 2016's '360º/The Cloud 9 LP'. His efforts have earned him many accolades, including a BRIT nomination and a MOBO Award, as well as collaborations with the likes of Taio Cruz, N-Dubz, Calvin Harris, Pixie Lott, Wiley, Lil John, Skepta, Giggs, Professor Green, Example and Chipmunk.
