Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean are ice dancers from Nottingham.

Former British, European, Olympic and World champions, they became the highest-scoring figure skaters of all time at the 1984 Winter Olympics.

They retired in 1998, stepping away from the limelight to coach and choreograph behind-the-scenes. However, they amassed a whole new era of fans in 2006, when they became coaches, choreographers and performers on ITV's Dancing On Ice, becoming Head Judges in 2018.
