Trudy and the Romance are like nothing else. Made up of Oliver Taylor playing guitar and vocals, Lewis Rollinson on Bass, and Brad Mullins on Drums, the band define their sound as 50s mutant pop - a blend of '50s rock, doo wop, and girl groups, merging into 21st century garage punk.
The band formed in Liverpool in 2014, and were known briefly as simply Trudy before re-branding. The trio released a series of stand-alone songs beginning with All My Love back in May 2015, produced by Spring King's Tarek Musa. Their next few singles Wild and He Sings double A-side singles marked a move to B3SCI Records in 2016. Subsequent releases included covers of Elvis Presley's I Want You, I Need You, I Love You, and, in 2017, Baby Mine from Disney's Dumbo. They've recently released two singles There A Place I Can Go and Twist It, Shake It. Rock and Roll, which are teaser from their upcoming EP 'Junkyard Jazz' set for release in November 2017. Trudy and The Romance are ready to play UK shows in November after playing Oxford’s Ritual Union Festival and Cardiff’s Swn Festival this month. If a specific Trudy and the Romance event is 'Sold Out', that means no official primary tickets are currently available from the organiser at face value. However, you may still be able to find tickets through our official fan-to-fan resale and secondary reseller marketplace partners listed on our event pages.
