Volcano Choir are an American indie-folk outift hailing from Wisconsin. Formed in 2005, it's the side project of Bon Iver frontman Justin Vernon and members of Collections of Colonies of Bees and they create a unique blend of ambient and experimental indie-folk.
Signed to Jagjaguwar, the band released their debut album 'Unmap' in 2009, and reached #92 in the Billboard 200. Though they weren't a major chart success, they picked up some dedicated fans and played some awesome live shows, before returning to the studio to record album #2 'Repave'. This time managing to break into the UK charts at #48 after it was released in September 2013, the band tour the UK in November - check below to find tickets.
