Wednesday 13, real name Joseph Poole, is a rock musician from North Carolina, best known for his solo career, as well as being the frontman of Murderdolls.
His music career began in 1992, when he played guitar in Mizery, which later became Psycho Opera, before he left to form Maniac Spider Trash. He then then formed Frankenstein Drag Queens From Planet 13, and then joined the Muderdolls, with Joey Jordison of Slipknot, before the band went on hiatus in 2004.
It was then that he begun his solo career, releasing his debut album ‘Transylvania 90210: Songs of Death, Dying, and the Dead’ in 2005. He has gone on to release seven more albums, including live and acoustic. His last release was 2015’s, 'Monsters Of The Universe: Come Out And Plague'. He released his latest album, ‘Condolences’, on June 2, 2017 via Nuclear Blast. He has also performed as Bourbon Crow and Gunfire 76.
Wednesday 13 has been touring far and wide in support of ‘Condolences’, reaching the UK and North America in 2017, and then Australia and New Zealand in April 2018, as well as touring with Combichrist and Davey Suicide.
Wednesday 13 has announced two Halloween London shows. The shock-rocker will celebrate the 10th anniversary of 'Skeletons' on October 26 at the Garage in London and the following day at the same venue will perform a Frankenstein Drag Queens From Planet 13 set.
