Y.O.U.N.G are a Manchester based 5-piece based around the core writing trio of singer songwriter Chez Davis, rapper Ben Donaldson, and producer Jamie Skehan. The band formed in Manchester in 2016 and record and play live as a five piece with the addition of bassist Tom Whitehead and drummer Graeme Smith (AKA DJ Yetti).

Chez and Jamie met in a local music studio where Jamie started adding beats and breaks to Chez’s pop punk guitar songs. They added Ben after a chance meeting at a film festival.

After Ben’s auditions and with the initial lineup in place, the band wanted to start collecting fans the old school way. They toured as soon as they could and managed to bag two UK and European supports with Australian pranksters The Janoskians. This opened up their accessible alt-pop/rock/hip-hop sound to live audiences throughout Europe early and gained them a considerable online following from which to start engaging with new material.

So far they've released two singles, What I Gotta Do, and Exposure. The video for the former, their debut, hit over a million views in just over 2 weeks on Facebook, and they have been gaining a loyal global fan base ever since.
