Alfresco Festival is a dance, electronica and underground music and family festival that takes place over the May Bank Holiday. Previously based in Tunbridge Wells, the festival have moved home permanently to Hop Farm in Paddock Wood, Kent.
Formed in 2016, by Nicky Chanot and Mark Davis, the festival includes six stages of music, street foods, bars and a family arena. It was named as one of The Guardian's Top Ten Family Friendly Festivals.
2018 sees confirmed acts Chicks on Speed, Optimo, Horse Meat Disco, Tim Sweeney, Fort Romeau, Ghost Culture, Psychemagik, Spencer Parker, Curses, Derrick Carter, Hercules & Love Affair, Man Power, Mr Scruff and Interstellar Funk who will all take to the stage in Paddock Wood this May. Musically, once again, Alfresco has pulled out all the stops, with a high class mix of selectors covering a mature and musical array of sounds from boogie to funk, a spectrum of house, disco, funk and electronica.
Ahead of the big event, a series of warm up events will take place, including boat parties on March 9 and April 21, and a long Easter weekend in the south of France.
