Born in Portsmouth and raised in rural France, Middleton set his sights on a career in the armed forces and didn’t stop striving until he achieved his goal. He joined the Special Boat Service (SBS) in 2008 and spent 4 years there. The SBS is the UK’s naval special forces unit and the sister unit of the SAS.
Now, he is well known as the Chief Instructor for Channel 4’s hit show SAS: Who Dares Wins, which began back in 2015. He was also at the forefront of the 2017 show Mutiny, as he captained Channel 4's big budget reenactment of Captain William Bligh's journey after the infamous Mutiny on the Bounty. His latest project is the Sky TV programme Straight Talking, the first episode of which saw him visit Mexico with actress Rebel Wilson. Ant Middleton has rescheduled his unscripted and unfiltered livestream event to February 2021. In response to the coronavirus pandemic, he's also moved his Mind Over Muscle Tour of the UK and Ireland to late 2021.
