Beach Slang are an American punk band from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, consisting of vocalist and guitar player James Alex and bass player Ed McNulty.
Formed in 2013, Beach Slang put out their debut EP, 'Who Would Ever Want Anything So Broken?', in 2014, with their debut album, ‘The Things We Do To Find People Who Feel Like Us’, coming out in October 2015. The band released their latest album, ‘A Loud Bash of Teenage Feelings’, in September via Big Scary Monsters in the UK.
The band have headlined their own shows and tours across the USA and UK and have performed at festivals such as Reading and Leeds.
2017 has seen Beach Slang supporting Minus the Bear and Jimmy Eat World before appearing on the bill for Green Day's British Summer Time Hyde Park show on July 1. The summer also featured UK shows with The Living End and The Wonder Years either side of their set at 2000trees Festival on July 7
