Cambridge Folk Festival is an annual music festival held at Cherry Hinton Hall.
First taking place in 1965, the festival is popular for its parkland setting and great facilities, where you can find an assortment of family-friendly activities including street theatre, music workshops, open stages, a youth area, internet café, kids’ ceilidh, storytelling, creche, paddling pool and playground, plus a range of real ale bars. In more recent years, the festival has seen performances from the likes of Patti Smith, Cat Stevens, Jake Bugg, Janis Ian, Will Varley, This Is The Kit, Gogol Bordello, Imelda May, Passenger, Christy Moore, John Prine and many more.
