Chris Rock is a comedian, actor, writer and producer from Andrews, South Carolina.

Starting his comedy career in 1984, he rose to prominence after joining the cast of Saturday Night Live in 1990. He went on to star in films such as Dogma, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, Madagascar, Grown Ups and Spiral: From the Book of Saw, among many others. He also developed, wrote and narrated his own television show, Everybody Hates Chris, and has hosted the Academy Awards twice.
