French emo-punk-metal band Chunk! No, Captain Chunk! was founded in 2007 by Bertrand Poncet (vocals), Jonathan Donnaes (drums), Mathias Riga (bass), Paul Wilson (guitar) and Éric Poncet (guitar).

The band take their name from a line in classic children’s film The Goonies and are also known by the acronym C!NCC!.

The band’s first album, ‘Something for Nothing’, released in 2011, resulted in a them getting a record deal with Fearless, who went on to re-release the album and their second 2013 effort, ‘Pardon My French.’

The band have extensively toured North America, supporting Attack! Attack!, Woe, Is Me, and Chelsea Grin on tour, and joined the Vans Warped Tour 2012 lineup.

2013 saw the band play Australia, with shows at Soundwave 2013, and support slots with All Time Low and Polar Bear Club.

In 2015 Donnaes left the band and was replaced by Bastien Lafaye and the band released their third album, ‘Get Lost, Find Yourself’.
