“Being out in front of people and just being ‘The Man’ might sound like a vague and ridiculous dream to have, but for Cameron Thomaz it might be the most appropriate thought to cross any mind. Better known as Wiz Khalifa, the son of two military parents has always had his eye on being a new standard by which cool is measured. Ever since posting 3 songs anonymously up on band camp in the spring of 2010, excitement and intrigue has been swirling around Cults, with the buzz building to a fever pitch early this year with their first string of shows in the UK all quickly selling out. Foo Fighters’ Taylor Hawkins has confessed that he is not a fan of the band’s new documentary ‘Back And Forth’, stating that he hopes it will never see the light of day. The drummer has made comments about the film, which depicts the band throughout their history and recording their latest effort ‘Wasting Light’, saying that he was “not really comfortable” with the idea.

‘X Factor’ finalist Cher Lloyd has revealed that her upcoming debut album is inspired by dubstep. The young singer gave a rare interview to Wonderland magazine, unveiling a new fiery-haired look for the feature (see photo on the right-hand side of this article). The singer, who is currently due to return to the studio to work on more tracks with producer RedOne, talked about her upcoming album, stating that “as long as I get my Number One, I’ll be the happiest person alive”.

Electronic indie quartet Metronomy have confirmed details of the support for their upcoming April tour and have also announced further UK dates for September.
