Reggae Artist Little Roy to Release Nirvana Covers Album – Listen Now
Jamaican solo artist Little Roy is to release a new reggae album featuring songs by legendary grunge band Nirvana. The album is called ‘Battle for Seattle’ and is due for release on 5th September. Little Roy will also be performing on the Festival Republic Stage at next weekend’s Reading and Leeds festivals, where you will be able to see him perform some of the tracks from the new album. Big Country to Release Their First Single in 12 Years This Month
On 29th August, Scottish rockers Big Country will release ‘Another Country’ – the band’s first single in 12 years and their first to feature new vocalist Mike Peters, the former singer with The Alarm. Later this week, Big Country will be playing headlining dates in Wrexham and Lincoln before making an appearance at this weekend’s V Festivals – see below for dates and tickets.

Hank Williams III to Release Four Albums Next Month
Hank Williams III aka Hank III - the grandson of country music legend Hank Williams and the son of Hank Williams Jr. – is to release four new solo albums on 5th September. Following in the footsteps of both his father and his grandfather, Hank III has become known as a performer of country music, but has also explored a number of other genres including heavy metal. For his new four-album release, he will be dividing his talents between both genres.
LA Punk Rockers Margate to Release New Album Next Month
LA punk rock trio Margate are to release their new album ‘Rock N Roll Reserve’ on 12th September. It is produced by former Death By Stereo bassist Paul Miner, who has previously worked with New Found Glory, Thrice and Atreyu. ‘Rock N Roll Reserve’ is Margate’s third album following 2006’s ‘Songs in the Key of Awesome’ and 2009’s ‘On the Other Side’.
