Kings Of Leon To Play Secret Gig As Part Of BBC Radio One's 'Kings Of Leon Night'

It has been announced that BBC Radio One DJ Zane Lowe will be talking to Kings Of Leon at 7pm on Thursday 28th October, ahead of a one hour gig at 8pm performed exclusively for Radio One's 'Kings of Leon Night'. Recorded from a secret location, the show will include a selection of the band's biggest hits plus the unveiling of brand new material.
Straight after the performance, the evening continues with several shows taking listeners on an audio journey to how Kings Of Leon became one of the biggest rock groups in the world.
BBC Radio One's 'Stories' at 9pm strips back the rumours and gossip and tells the band’s story through their own words. This revealing documentary is followed at 10pm by 'The Influences Of Leon', which draws together the songs that sound-tracked the formative years of the band and helped to shape their sound. 'Kings Of Leon Night' culminates at 11pm with 'The Archives Of Leon', which features classic conversations, live performances, session tracks and live lounges from the past eight years of the band coming into Radio One.
The eagerly-awaited new album from Kings of Leon, 'Come Around Sundown' is set for release on October 18th. Following on from their triumphant sold out show in front of 65,000 fans in London's Hyde Park in June, and their recent headline performances at this years V festival, Kings of Leon will play a string of UK shows in December.
