Metal rockers Avenged Sevenfold have announced that they will be playing a special Las Vegas show this December.
The show will be part of Radio Station X107.5’s ‘Holiday Havoc’ event at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino on 11th December. Also playing at the event will be This is My Curse and Californian rockers The Black Pacific. Tickets go on sale this Saturday, October 9th.
It has been a strange year for Avenged Sevenfold. Back in early spring, those looking at the scheduled album releases would have dismissed the idea that the band could compete with the likes of Katy Perry, Eminem, Justin Beiber and Brandon Flowers in terms of sales. However, ‘Nightmare’, the band’s fifth studio release did exactly that, shocking many (including themselves) by claiming the top spot in the US album chart this July.
It was a bittersweet victory for the band, who were still coming to terms with the loss of their drummer Jimmy “The Rev” Sullivan, who passed away from accidental drug overdose in December last year.
Avenged Sevenfold are currently midway through their world tour, and are due to play a number of dates in the UK and Ireland this month.
