Eric Clapton Previews New DVD Online

Guitar legend Eric Clapton has posted a sneak preview of his new DVD online. The concert recording of Clapton’s 2010 Crossroads Festival will be released this November on DVD and Blu-Ray.
The festival was the third in a line of fundraising events supporting the Crossroads Centre in Antigua, a non-profit institute that provides healthcare and support for recovery from addiction. The centre was founded by Clapton in 1997.
The Crossroads Festival was a staggering eleven hour event which took place on 26th June this year in Illinois. Many artists took to the stage other than Clapton himself, including the likes of Steve Winwood, Jeff Beck, ZZ Top, John Mayer Trio, Sonny Landreth, Sheryl Crow and Vince Gill. It is scheduled for release on 8th November (UK) and 9th November (US).

It has been a busy year for Clapton, who released his twentieth solo studio album last week. The album, ‘Clapton’, entered the UK album chart at number seven, despite having only been available for purchase for three days. Eric Clapton is due to start a large UK and European tour next spring, as well as performing at the Prince’s Trust Rock Gala at the Royal Albert Hall this November.
