Magnetic Man Prepare Launch Of Debut Album

Magnetic Man are to release their self-titled debut album on Monday 11th October, with a string of UK tour dates to follow a the end of the month.

A lot has been said about Magnetic Man, the trio made up of dubstep’s leading lights Skream, Benga and Artwork. It was Artwork who penned the dubstep anthem 'Red,' a tune so ahead of its time the genre didn’t yet have a name. He began to mentor two errant teenagers – Benga, who has released two albums and who co-wrote the club hit 'Night,' and Skream, whose anthem 'Midnight Request Line' took the genre to the nation before his remix of La Roux’s 'In For The Kill' sent it worldwide.

Having created a genre of music that has taken hold of youth culture in Britain, anticipation has been building to fever pitch as the band set about unleashing onto the world their debut album. a trail of incendiary live performances across the UK and Europe – from the Roskilde Festival in Denmark and Melt festival in Germany to London club Matter and the warehouse project in Manchester - have left festival goers and clubbers transfixed over the past year.
