Usher Thrilled To Be Performing On Tonight’s ‘X Factor’

R&B superstar Usher (real name Usher Raymond) is due to perform on tonight’s live ‘X Factor’ show.
The singer, actor and businessmen will take to the stage tonight as part of the first live voting show this series. In an Interview yesterday with an English newspaper, he conveyed his excitement about the performance and relief on not being part of the judges panel: “X Factor will be perfect and fun. I don't want to be on a panel where I need to judge somebody. I love touring and introducing a new artist but I don't want to be in charge of somebody's future."
Also performing on tonight’s show is last year’s winner Joe McElderry, who will perform his first single, ‘Ambitions’. Usher will be performing a track from his latest album, ‘Raymond vs Raymond’, which was released earlier this year.
Other confirmed performers for this year’s series include last year’s contestants Jedward, who are due to give a Halloween performance and judge Cheryl Cole, who will appear on the show on October 25, performing her latest song ‘Promise This’.
Artists scheduled to perform later this year include Leona Lewis, Pixie Lott and Take That.
Usher is currently preparing for an extensive UK tour in January. He is also due to be performing at the MTV Europe Music Awards in Lisbon on 7th November.
