Lady Gaga Bites Barbie's Head Off At Halloween Gig

Lady Gaga once again found herself courting controversy this weekend at a show in Northern Ireland. The singer, who was recently announced as the most-played artist of the year on British airwaves, delighted fans at a Belfast gig by biting the head off a Barbie Doll.
The ‘Poker Face’ star has never been known to shy away from the limelight, and this latest episode is only one in a long line of controversial moments for the pop star. Speaking on Twitter after the performance, Gaga wrote: "For Halloween I'm going to be...a little monster!!! I love you all so much! Celebrate yourself!"
Lady Gaga also posted a picture to all her Twitter followers after the show, depicting herself wearing an 'I Love Belfast T-shirt' covered in fake blood. However, her love of the Emerald Isle might not stretch as far as she would suggest. The singer is said to have requested twenty-four hour security protection at her Dublin and Belfast shows.
The singer has recruited the extensive security cover to keep away the more overly-enthusiastic among her fans. “She takes no chances when it comes to security and likes to feel protected at all times," a source on her security team told the Belfast Telegraph.
"Some fans are a bit over the top and send her lots of violent messages which have scared her in the past."
The singer is currently on the latest European leg of her Monster Ball world tour, which is due to return to the UK this December.NOTE FROM THE EDITOR
