A trailer surfaced online yesterday for a unique film which documents the reunion of Take That with former member Robbie Williams.
The film is an insight into exactly how the band came to rejoin with the long-lost member, Williams. It also depicts the writing and recording process which the band went through on their latest release, ‘Progress’. The documentary will be broadcast on ITV next Sunday.
The black and white film is reported to be a personal account of the last twelve months for the band, featuring honest interviews about their anticipations and concerns surrounding the process of reforming as a collective. It will also feature rare footage from their original stint as a group in the 1990’s.
Speaking about the project, ITV’s Controller of Entertainment, John Kaye Cooper, said: ‘We are thrilled that our great relationship with Take That continues and they feel ITV will be able to give viewers and fans the first opportunity to see this amazingly frank and honest film about the last 12 months of Britain’s best loved band.’
The film will also be released as a full-length DVD, at a date which has not yet been confirmed.
