John Paul Jones Looking To Make An Appearance At Foo Fighter’s Milton Keynes Shows

Them Crooked Vultures bassist John Paul Jones has announced that he intends to gatecrash Foo Fighters Milton Keynes shows next year.
Jones made the announcement during an interview with BBC 6 Music, declaring: "I might gatecrash one of their gigs I think… If he asks!" Although Jones hasn’t been invited by Grohl as of yet, it is unlikely that any musician would be keen to reject a collaboration from the ex-Led Zeppelin bassist.
The pair joined together to form rock supergroup Them Crooked Vultures last year, along with Queens of the Stone Age’s Josh Homme.
During the interview, Jones went on the say that the Foo Fighter’s reunion does not mean the end for Them Crooked Vultures. The band are supposedly planning another album release within the next few years. Jones claimed the group have "Some stuff we've worked on, but we're gonna write pretty quickly and just put it down. We may be a year or so." He added that the album "will mainly be excess material from the first album".
Fans would be forgiven in thinking that Jones was sitting idle waiting for Grohl’s return, but Jones is actually set to play bass at London's Royal Opera House next year, performing in an opera entitled 'Anna Nicole'. The production focuses on the life of former Playboy model Anna Nicole Smith and will commence next February.
