Duran Duran Reveal Details Of New Album And UK Tour Plans

New Romantics Duran Duran are to return later this year with brand new nine-track album 'All You Need Is Now', the wild boys are also set to hit the road for a UK tour next year.
The new album will be Duran Duran's 13th album and is helmed by producing guru and solo artist Mark Ronson. Band keyboardist Nick Rhodes revealed his excitiment for the new record, describing to spinner that "it's the best record we've made in over two decades."
Rhodes also revealed that the band approached their writing sessions as they did back in the days of 'Rio', accompanying songs with plenty of well-produced videos. Citing Lady Gaga and Kanye West as artists who have revived the flare in music videos, Rhodes said. "One thing I can say is that we will be making videos for every track on the album, which is something we certainly haven't done since the very beginning. We feel that visual material and content now is actually becoming of value again."
In addition to the new album, fans can also look forward to a new Duran Duran tour. Confirming that the group will tour in 2011, Rhodes continued. "We're going to be touring next year for sure. We haven't announced anything yet, but this record is built for touring, so we're definitely excited about that."
Duran Duran's new album 'All You Need Is Now' is released on iTunes on December 21st and in the shops in February 2011.
